FROM A DREAM TO A MOVEMENT

For founder and executive chef Grey Parker, food has always been deeply personal. Living with Type 1 Diabetes and Cushing’s Syndrome, Grey understands the power of food not just as fuel, but as a source of joy, healing, and connection.

 

“I know how one bite can be the difference between joy today and a challenge tomorrow. Food should never be something we fear—it should be something we trust. That’s why I built Scoops Baking Co.: to create desserts that don’t just taste good, but feel good, too.”

 

But getting here wasn’t easy. The early days were filled with late nights, recipe testing, and the occasional kitchen disaster (let’s just say not every gluten-free cookie experiment was a success). Yet, through every challenge, one thing remained clear: this wasn’t just about baking—it was about creating something meaningful.

 

We envisioned a bakery that welcomed everyone to the table, where those with food allergies, sensitivities, or dietary restrictions could indulge without hesitation. Every bite is crafted with intention, passion, and the belief that dessert should be a source of joy—not stress.
